In 2022, your Qurbani donations provided 328,989 people with fresh nutritious meat across fourteen countries and territories: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and the UK. In 2022, we managed to keep costs low while increasing the average weight of your Qurbani donations by 1.6 kilograms per sacrifice, which allowed us to provide families with more meat – a whole 700 grams more per family, on average.

Millions of lives have been devastated following the unprecedented floods in Pakistan this year. But thanks to you so far, 435,753 individuals were provided with food aid, 38,675 were provided with Hygiene Kits & Non-Food Items (NFI's), 24,338 were provided with hot meals, 4,534 were provided with healthcare assistance (through our mobile medical camps), and 15,000 flood affected people benefited from unconditional cash assistance.

Our local office in Gaza reacted immediately, and, once it was safe to, we supported the recovery effort by providing emergency food, street and rubble clearing, fuel, and medical supplies.

In the aftermath of the escalation in Gaza, you helped:

• 1,800 families received emergency food vouchers

• 162 families with house repairs to help 914 people

• 25,691 litres of fuel to hospitals to power their generators

• Medical supplies to help 15,443 people

Since then, we’ve continued to support the most vulnerable, including rebuilding 162 homes, providing water desalination, and supporting families through winter.

In all, you helped 70,031 people to stay warm across 10 countries, providing warm clothing, shelter, mattresses, food, PPE, and blankets.

You helped 178,627 people to break their fast across 10 countries. 21,535 families received a nutritious food parcel to feed the entire family for the whole month. 18,520 people received hot meals, and 21,558 people received cash vouchers for food.

When Eid al-Fitr came around, you supported 58,725 people with staple foods from your Zakat al-Fitr, and you provided 1,379 children with Eid gifts, spreading cheer and celebration on the blessed day of Eid.

Your donations at a glance

So far this year, you have helped us to support:

• 13,000 people with clean drinking water in Al-Qahera district, Taiz province.

• 2 hospitals in Sana’a and Taiz with essential medicines and laboratory support.

• 1,400 women, children and older people with medicine and lab testing.

• 1,212 families with emergency food parcels in September, providing nutritious food for an entire month.

• 7,700 people, mainly children and displaced families, with COVID-19 hygiene kits to protect them from the virus.

How you helped this Qurbani:

• 401,006 people received fresh mutton, veal, or beef

• supported a total of 201,309 people through our Feed the Fasting campaign in 7 countries: Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Syria and Yemen.

• delivered 23,793 monthly family food parcels,

• provided 9,760 hot meals,

• distributed 1,927 food vouchers,

• supported 37,431 people through Zakat al-Fitr,

• provided 4,024 children with Eid gifts.
