£50 - Help contribute towards the running costs of the orphanage.
Families in Sudan are being forced to abandon their homes – 2.6 million people are displaced within Sudan and around 743,000 have fled to neighbouring countries in search of safety.
Concerns over fragile ceasefire and malnutrition
As a fragile ceasefire holds in Sudan, families fear a return to the violence that kept them besieged under gunfire. Sudan has one of the highest rates of malnutrition among children in the world. More than 3 million children are acutely malnourished, and numbers are expected to rise due to the ongoing conflict.
Children are caught up in a devastating and unfolding crisis in Sudan, lacking access to basic healthcare, food, and education – many of whom will now be forced to live in displacement camps until the violence is resolved and rebuilding can begin.
