Wrap Up is back - 23rd October - 12th November

As the cold winter months draw in, Wrap Up is back for the eighth year (23rd October - 12th November) to help spread the warmth across Birmingham, Derby, Glasgow, London, Luton, Leicester, and Manchester.

For 8 remarkable years, Wrap Up has been a beacon of warmth and kindness.

This award-winning campaign, in collaboration with Hands on London, has been spreading comfort across UK cities. We collect and distribute warm winter coats to vulnerable residents, making winters more bearable.

The current cost of living crisis is biting down hardest on those least able to cope, with sky-rocketing fuel and food costs leaving the UK’s most vulnerable people out in the cold. Your spare winter coat makes a very real difference for people who struggle to stay warm in winter time.

You hand over your spare winter coat to us and we re-home it to charities that support people who are homeless, refugees, children living in poverty and people fleeing domestic violence. Simple.

Donate a coat from 23rd October at collection points across 7 cities.

Do something warm this winter. Donate a coat.

Thank you for wrapping up with us last year

A warm thank you to all who supported our Wrap Up campaign last winter.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, you spread warmth, donating 10,000 warm clothing items, including 5,550 coats, and over 4,000 jumpers and cardigans to protect refugees, vulnerable women, homeless people, families, and children from the cold.

Wrap up is an award-winning charity campaign that aims to keep the most vulnerable people in the UK warm during the winter. We collect spare winter coats and distribute them to the homeless, refugees, and children living in poverty.

Through our Wrap Up campaign, in partnership with Hands On London, we were able to pass your coats to 50 charities in Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester, London, Glasgow, Bradford and Bristol.

We managed to collect 20,287 coats in partnership with Hands on London and 109 volunteers spent 445 hours, collecting, sorting, and quality-checking your donations.
