World-famous MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov partners with Class A events for two nights of exclusive one-to-one interview and panel discussion on 9th and 11th September 2022.
Funds raised will be going to Human Appeal’s emergency aid programme for the current flooding emergency in Pakistan. To cover production and running costs for the event and maximise charitable donations to the Pakistan Floods appeal, the event is also being sponsored by Broadway City, a Pakistan property development venture.
For Khabib’s first visit to the UK since becoming the youngest UFC Hall of Famer in the history of the sport and the first Muslim to be inducted, he will give a one-to-one interview, speaking to the public about his childhood, his professional journey in the UFC, his discipline, his faith, and what it takes to become a champion.
Having made his UFC debut in 2011 and retired as undefeated lightweight champion in 2021, Khabib is one of the greatest athletes of all time. This event series, in London and Birmingham, offers sporting aficionados the unique opportunity to hear Khabib discuss his experiences on a personal level and to ask him questions about his life and career. Khabib comments, “I am happy to be back in the UK to meet with sports fans and supporters in London to share the story of my life journey and sporting career success. I hope this event will motivate many others. We all have moments where we doubt ourselves, but we should remember that the power comes from inside us and this combined with the right mindset and actions can make us unstoppable. This event visit is special for me as it is to support a very worthy cause close to my heart.”
Naveed Ahmed, CEO, Broadway City, adds, “It is a huge honour for us to be given this privilege to support the aims of this truly great champion who stands for hard work, discipline, faith and trust in the Almighty and to support those most in need. Our mission is to provide safe and secure investment opportunities that deliver exceptional returns for our investors, whilst also helping develop the Pakistan economy and to elevate those from poor backgrounds. In particular the recent devastating floods in Pakistan bring into sharp focus the many challenges faced by many people in developing nations.”
Previous sold-out events in Seattle and San Francisco raised funds in the region of $800,000, supported a number of causes across the 25 countries where the humanitarian charity operates.
