At Human Appeal we are thankful for every single person who either donates to us or helps us with our fundraising activities. Without any of you, we simply would not be able to change the number of lives we do on a daily basis, in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
Today we want to shine the spotlight on Nick Fisher, better known as Indigo Traveller, who has been working with us this year to raise funds for those who need our help the most in Lebanon.
Nick joined us on a visit to Lebanon in October and saw first-hand the good that Human Appeal is doing to turn people’s lives around, but he also saw just how much work there is left to do to help Lebanon get back on the road to recovery.
We can’t thank Nick and his supporters enough for the monumental effort they have put in to raise $100,000 for our projects in Lebanon. Each and every person who has donated can be assured that by doing so, they have changed someone’s life for good.
To have raised this much in such a short space of time is an amazing achievement, and while it means the world to us at Human Appeal, we know it will mean so much more to the people in Lebanon this will help. As well as supporting Lebanese people this winter, we’ll be providing life-saving aid to families in Syrian and Palestinian refugee camps, who have already fled one conflict and won’t survive a harsh winter without urgent assistance.
Behind every £1 we spend is a human story, of a life thrown into turmoil either by conflict, poverty or natural disaster.
