Papiss Demba Cisse is best known as a famous footballer, renowned for his on - field prowess in the Premier League and around the world. Those who know him best, however, know that he is also a compassionate humanitarian committed to making a positive impact beyond football. Inspired by his own journey and the challenges facing communities in his native Senegal and around the world, Cisse embarked on a mission to leverage his platform for social good. With a vision to uplift and empower those in need, he created the Papiss Demba Cisse Foundation.
The creation of the Foundation is rooted in Cisse's desire to tackle pressing social issues and contribute to real, concrete change. Recognising the transformative power of education, healthcare and community development, the Foundation was founded on the principles of empathy, collaboration and service to humanity. Today, the Foundation strives to support those in need through initiatives put in place to advance communities in ways that create lasting impact for many generations to come.
Join our Football Legends Gala Dinner in aid of Senegal to combat one of the world’s most unreported humanitarian crises. With 1.4 million people in Senegal affected by hunger and the rapidly escalating effects of climate change, your support can make a real difference. In addition to installing solar-powered water panels and providing agricultural skills training in Sedhiou and Matam, we're also establishing a sports academy to empower youth and foster community resilience. Your contribution will also support our orphan sponsorship programme across Senegal.
