Almost half of Pakistanis live below the poverty line, which forces families to live hand-to-mouth, unable to escape the cycle of hardship. Climate shocks in recent years have added to the extreme strain that families face.

Help a vulnerable family to survive a bitter winter
Donate to our Winter Emergency Appeal and help us to protect the most vulnerable families across eight countries from snow, rain, flooding, freezing temperatures and bitter winds. In Pakistan, £40 will provide an orphan and their family with warm bedding and clothing.
In Pakistan-administered Kashmir, we’ll be working to support 890 orphans and their families to stay protected against the cold.
