Tehzeeb "Tez" Ilyas is a British Pakistani stand-up comedian. He is best known for starring in BBC Three comedy Man Like Mobeen and presenting satirical comedy programme The Tez O'Clock Show on Channel 4. We can’t wait to welcome him back to the biggest Muslim Comedy Takeover in support of Human Appeal.
This award-winning comedian, presenter, writer, and actor is a qualified medical doctor too!
During the pandemic, he launched ‘The Best Medicine,’ his own weekly virtual comedy club, featuring comedians from all over the world. His Netflix special ‘Why do you talk the Way You Do?’ was released on Netflix’s ‘Comedians of The World’ and his ‘Life Begins’ was also released on the global streaming giant. Riad is a big addition to the Biggest Muslim Comedy Takeover.
Ali Official is an award-winning talent that does comedy online, on-stage and on screen, making him a triple threat! He’s generated over 300M views on his sketches across social media, has toured across the UK, America, and South Africa, and has written and starred in TV comedy, Muzlamic, presented the documentary, Being British Bangladeshi and was a judge on the BBC New Comedy Awards.
Azeem’s comedy has brought laughter to millions around the world. From his award-winning, critically acclaimed ‘Allah Made me Funny: Official Muslim Comedy Tour’ to his ‘conscious comedy’ and ability to intertwine touchy subjects in a politically correct society with charismatic candour, Azeem has earned the title of ‘Holistic Healer’ through comedy. We’re delighted he’ll be bringing a big dose of humour to The Biggest Muslim Comedy Takeover.
We’re delighted to welcome back award-winning stand up Aatif Nawaz. Writer and star of Muzlamic on BBC Three, Aatif is also a celebrated cricket commentator and analyst on BBC Test Match Special team. This will be his 7th consecutive tour in support of Human Appeal.
In the ongoing crisis in Palestine, Human Appeal stands united to provide urgent aid. Since October 7, over 15,200 Palestinians, including over 6,150 children, have been killed, with over 40,650 wounded and many missing. Hospitals are on the brink, and an estimated 500 people were killed in Al Ahli Hospital. The siege has left 2.3 million people without essential supplies. Gaza's power plant is shut, and hospitals face imminent fuel shortages. Entire neighborhoods have been wiped out, and families urgently need support for basic necessities. Your donation can provide hygiene kits, water tanks, nutritious food parcels, fuel, shelter, winter kits, medical treatment, and support for Palestinian families. Human Appeal, in partnership with global UN allies, has been aiding the region since 1991. Our local teams have been actively assisting Palestinians for over 30 years, and we remain committed to supporting them long after media attention wanes, contributing to the rebuilding and empowerment of Palestinian families. Every contribution makes a meaningful impact. Donate now to alleviate the suffering in the holy land.Donate now
