82.4 million people are out in the cold
For the world’s most vulnerable people, winter is not just a cold season. It is a deadly one. After enduring unspeakable horrors like war, violence, displacement, hunger, malnutrition, untreated disease, abuse and marginalisation, winter can be the final nail in the coffin.
This winter, as thousands of families struggle to stay warm in tents and makeshift shelters, we will not turn our backs. As malnourished children brace their weak bodies against the cold, we will not turn look away. Although millions are displaced - the highest figure on record. And although millions are living below the poverty line in desperate need, we will do everything we can to ensure no one is left behind.
Together we can make sure 90,000 people across 10 countries survive winter by supporting them with our emergency winter packs while helping them to build resilience with our long-term winter solutions. Millions of lives are on the line right now, so please don’t turn away. Give your warmth. If everyone were to help someone this winter, no one would get left behind.
If you have not received your e-ticket 5 days before your event, please check your junk folder. If you still haven't received a ticket by email, please contact us on 0161 225 0225 or email customercare@humanappeal.org.uk.
VIP tickets offer the closest seating to the stage and comedy performance, ensuring that you have the best time. At times, this will allow for the comedian to interact with audience members that are closest to them.
There are dedicated sections for VIP seating and standard seating. Seats will be filled on a first-come basis and we will endeavour to fill the first rows first.
Doors open at 6.00pm
We aim to have everyone seated by 6.45pm and the show starts at 7.00pm. Late arrivals will likely get poorer seats. We strongly encourage you to arrive early so that there is less disruption to the event and so that you can have a thoroughly enjoyable time.
This varies from venue to venue. For access, we suggest you contact the venue or email us and we will check for you. Seats can be moved to accommodate those with accessibility issues. We will always do our best to help those that require assistance, however, at times this may be difficult, so we would suggest that you have a friend or family member willing to assist.
There is no minimum age – this is an event for the whole family to enjoy. Furthermore, we know that childcare can be an issue at times, to make this easy for you, we are happy to offer free places for children under 3 (without a seat).
Not all of the venues have spaces for prayer and as Maghrib is around 4.00pm it can be prayed before arrival. Where needed, we will always do our best to accommodate prayer for those who wish to.
Yes – we will have a dedicated photographer/videographer to capture the event and audience so we can share the work we do with the rest of the world. If you don’t wish to be photographed or captured on video please let a member of the Human Appeal team know.
Refunds can be only offered 7 days before the event and may be subject to an admin charge.
If the event is cancelled you will be offered a full refund.
All transactions on our website, donations or ticket sales, are secured with up to date encryption.
No hot food or drink will be provided or sold at the event (except the New Year's Eve event in London). There may be snacks and soft drinks for sale but this will vary from venue to venue.
No hot food or drink is to be consumed in the venue – you may be requested by the venue via our event team to discard your food or drink items if seen being consumed.
Venues will be thoroughly cleaned prior to the event and, wherever possible, we will provide masks and hand sanitisers at entrances to those who wish to use them.
We encourage children over 12 years to attend with adult supervision. We are keen to ensure that during performances there is minimal disruption and our guests are able to enjoy the event. Ticket prices are the same for both adults and children.
Car parking varies from venue to venue. Please see the venue website or contact us for details of the specific event you wish to attend and we will check for you. For most of the London venues, there is no or little free parking.
This is an event for the whole family to enjoy – kids, teens and adults that want a night of fun and laughter whilst supporting the great charity work that we do are most welcome.
