Ramadan food parcels for families in Syria

Help us to support displaced and returnee families in rural areas of Damascus, Homs, and Hama. Families here have not only endured years of conflict, but also recent earthquakes which pushed families into displacement once again. With an end to the war, families are now looking to rebuild a sense of stability and recover their livelihoods and homes. But prices are soaring, making it difficult for families to afford food, and this year, Ramadan coincides with cyclical floods at the end of winter.

What will each donation provide?

Each parcel will contain staple local foods, ingredients for Ramadan, and nutritionally-rich items. In Syria, your donation will provide a family with around 47 kilograms of rice, flour, lentils, beans, chickpeas, chickpea flour, jam-e-shirin, tea, sugar, salt, oil, and dates.

When you donate, we’ll provide nutritious month-long food parcels to 1,358 families, helping a total of 6,790 people across northern Syria.
