Ramadan food parcels for families in Iraq

Help us to provide marginalized families in Kurdistan in Iraq with nourishing iftars and suhoors for the entire month of Ramadan.

Years of conflict have uprooted millions of Iraqi people, eroded social cohesion, disrupted access to basic services, destroyed livelihoods and led to increased protection risks.

In Kurdistan, over 150,000 people are displaced in camps, that are at risk of closing, making the most vulnerable families even more at risk. Across Iraq, 2.5 million people urgently need humanitarian help to have enough food or to support their livelihood.

What will each donation provide?

Each parcel will contain staple local foods, ingredients for Ramadan, and nutritionally-rich items. In Iraq your donation will provide a family with rice, flour, sugar, tea, dates, and milk powder.

When you donate, we’ll provide nutritious month-long food parcels to 372 families, helping a total of 2,082 people across Iraq.
