Feed the Fasting at Masjid al-Aqsa
£7 will provide a hot iftar to a fasting person at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Built 40 years after Masjid al Haram in Mecca, Masjid al-Aqsa is considered the third holiest site and was well-known as a place of worship during the times of the prophets Ibrahim, Ishaq and Yaqub.
But Muslims also cherish Masjid al-Aqsa because it is where the Prophet (PBUH) ascended to heaven (Miraj) over 1,300 years ago.
Today, Muslims often face obstacles when trying to access and preserve this holy site. Every year, in recognition of the sanctity of Masjid al-Aqsa, we give you the chance to provide hot meals to worshippers who continue to pray at the mosque, despite the many challenges they face to do so.
Why Feed the Fasting with Human Appeal?
Because we know what we’re doing. We only distribute iftar and food parcels in countries where we have a vast network, and comprehensive experience. We help your donation to go further by getting the best prices and quality of food, which means that more of your donation goes directly to those who need it most.
Our food parcels are tailored to the diets and preferences of each community, and contain an average of 50kg of nutritious food, helping families to stay nourished through Ramadan.
Entrust your charity to us. Right now, we’re working day and night to make sure that the most vulnerable are supported through this extremely difficult Ramadan. Your donation is a sign of trust and faith in us, and that is something we value beyond words, and that we're honoured to accept with responsibility under Allah’s watch.

“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: ‘Tuba [a prayer for glad tidings] is for Ash-Sham.’ So we said: ‘Why is that O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘Because the angels of Ar-Rahman spread their wings over it.’” (Tirmidhi)

Human Appeal is working hard to deliver your Feed the Fasting donations before the month of Ramadan ends. Donate to help a fasting family eat nutritious meals for a month as early as possible to ensure that your donation is distributed before the end of Ramadan. Late donations may end up being distributed on or after Eid, helping a vulnerable family to have secure access to nutritious meals.
