Secure your rewardsThe 10 days end 27 May 2026 — 10 Dhul Hijjah 1447. Automate now and miss nothing.
Over 1.6 million people in Gaza are facing high levels of food insecurity. 100,000 children are at risk of long-term harm. Without steady access to food, families — and the children among them — face consequences that will last for years.
This Dhul Hijjah, your Qurbani is more than an obligation. It is a stand against starvation. Human Appeal's local team in Gaza has been working tirelessly to ensure that, despite closed borders and extreme conditions, your sacrifice can still reach the families who need it most. You can automate your Dhul Hijjah, supporting families and assisting people in emergencies over the best 10 days of the year.
Despite the extreme challenges, your generosity can help. Since October 2023, you've helped us deliver over 24 million items of life-saving aid — the equivalent of supporting every person in Gaza more than four times over.
You can also give £80 and give a Super Qurbani, providing two Qurbani sacrifices in India and 10 preserved, ready-to-eat Qurbani Kabsa meat meals in Gaza.
Your sacrifice will be performed outside of Gaza and transported in via our trucks as soon as borders allow. This fully meets all Islamic Qurbani requirements and allows us to provide long-lasting, nourishing meat without relying on the critically low number of healthy animals inside Gaza.
Your Qurbani is performed during the first to fourth days of Eid al-Adha in East Asia, following full Islamic guidelines. All animals are locally sourced and inspected ahead of slaughter to ensure they are healthy and well cared for — even as global supply chains are disrupted by conflict, we work with trusted local farmers to ensure your sacrifice meets full Shariah standards. Your Qurbani is an Amanah (trust) to us, and we ensure your sacrifice is completed on time, as is required for the Udhiya.
The meat is cooked, seasoned with spiced rice as a traditional Kabsa dish, sterilised, and packed airtight under strict hygiene controls. Each pouch contains 300g of lamb with rice — ready to eat, with no cooking or refrigeration required. Every meal is prepared with the intention that it will reach a mother shielding her children, a widow with no one to provide for her, or an orphan who has already lost everything.
The sealed pouches have a 2-year shelf life, meaning they can be safely stored and distributed the moment aid access to Gaza opens. While borders remain closed, your Qurbani waits — ready to reach the orphans, widows, and desperate families who need it most. Closed borders are not a reason to stop giving. They are a reason to give more.
Getting aid into Gaza is one of the hardest logistical challenges in the world right now. Our field team coordinates secure delivery through Jordan, navigating checkpoints, border restrictions, and the constant uncertainty of conflict. Despite these extreme challenges, our local partners work tirelessly on the ground to ensure your Qurbani reaches the families — orphans without fathers, widows without support, and households torn apart by years of siege and bombardment — who are waiting for it.
"There are no days more beloved to Allah than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah."
(Al-Tirmidhi)
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “There is no deed more greatly rewarded in the sight of Allah than the good deed that is done in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah.”

Yes. Your sacrifice is performed between the first and fourth days of Eid al-Adha, as required for Udhiya. All animals are inspected ahead of slaughter and sacrificed in full accordance with the Prophet's (ﷺ) tradition. The meat is then cooked, seasoned, sterilised, and packed under strict hygiene controls — halal, Tayyib (pure), and ready to eat.
The ongoing conflict makes it impossible to source healthy livestock inside Gaza. Performing your sacrifice outside Gaza and transporting the meat in is fully compliant with Islamic Qurbani rites — and this year, it's the only way to guarantee families receive high-quality, nourishing food. Your Qurbani is not delayed by closed borders; it is prepared and ready to enter the moment they open.
Your Qurbani is packed as ready-to-eat Kabsa pouches — 300g of lamb and rice per serving, with a 1.5-year shelf life, requiring no refrigeration or cooking. Our field teams transport it into Gaza via Jordan as soon as borders allow, distributing directly to the most vulnerable: orphans, widows, female-headed households, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, families with young children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.
We aim to distribute as soon as possible after the days of Eid al-Adha. We are working closely with our on-the-ground team and partners to navigate border crossings as quickly as possible. Human Appeal is committed to delivering your Qurbani to the people of Gaza as intended.
Our team works every year to ensure your Qurbani reaches the country of your choice. In exceptional circumstances beyond our control, we will ensure it is redirected to those most in need in the nearest possible location — never wasted, always purposeful.

Yes. You can give a Qurbani as a gift or dedicate it on behalf of a loved one.
Your Qurbani is cooked, seasoned, sterilised, and sealed airtight at source — no refrigeration or cooking required at any point. Each Kabsa pouch has a shelf life of 1.5 years, making it safe and nourishing even in Gaza's most difficult conditions, where access to electricity, fuel, and kitchens cannot be guaranteed.
This year's Gaza Qurbani will be lamb and beef, prepared as a traditional Kabsa meal — meat and rice cooked and seasoned together, then packed into ready-to-eat pouches. Each serving contains 300g of meat per family, sacrificed in full accordance with Islamic rites.
