About the challenge

Lace up your boots. Button up your waterproofs. Take to the ridge.

Cadair Idris tests you on its own terms — legend has it that anyone who sleeps on its summit wakes either a poet or mad. You’ll settle for wide-open views over the Mawddach Estuary and a sense of purpose instead.

Every step across this mid-Wales giant raises vital funds to keep Gaza’s makeshift schools running and children learning, even amid crisis.

Why we climb: our Gaza Emergency Appeal

Why we climb: our Gaza Emergency Appeal

More than 850,000 children in Gaza have had their education disrupted or destroyed by the ongoing crisis, with schools damaged, closed or repurposed as shelters.

Human Appeal is creating makeshift schools, providing back-to-school kits and classroom furniture, and organising catch-up learning so children don’t lose their futures along with everything else.

Don't dream of change. Make it.
