Homes of mercy

This Ramadan, provide shelter to the displaced families of Gaza by contributing to an innovative modular home initiative — the first of its kind in Gaza. These homes, made from insulated and upgraded shipping containers, come fully equipped with a shower, toilet, sinks, water, and electricity facilities. We are the first charity in Gaza to offer this life-changing shelter to those who have lost everything.

Multiply blessings in Ramadan

As families return to their homes they are met with destruction, rubble, trauma, and the stress of how they will rebuild. 92 per cent of homes have been damaged or destroyed. This Ramadan, help Palestinians to rebuild the lives and futures that were taken from them.

Donate, and help us to provide an innovative shelter – a 5 by 3 metre insulated modular home, innovated from a shipping container. Each home preserves privacy and dignity by allowing a family a place to gather, sleep, wash, and live together.

Every home has a window, a bathroom containing a shower, sink, and toilet, a large kitchen sink, lighting, and power sockets. The water is distributed to the kitchen area and bathroom from a tank that the family refills, and electrical connections, bringing comfort to a family displaced by the brutal bombings, which decimated 92 per cent of all homes.

Currently, Human Appeal is the only charity offering this robust, sustainable shelter.
