Qurbani in Bangladesh (Cow share)
“He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbour to his side goes hungry.” (Bukhari)
Give £70 and deliver your Qurbani to vulnerable Bangladeshis and Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
Almost a third of Bangladeshis don’t have enough to eat; most of those going hungry right now in Bangladesh are women and children. The spread of the deadly coronavirus makes the search for food even more fragile and risky, especially for the most vulnerable families.
Over one million Rohingya refugees from Myanmar have sought refuge in Bangladesh, leaving their homes to escape unimaginable violence and persecution. Entire communities were razed, and men, women and children were assaulted, abused and killed.
This Eid, help us to fight hunger, by giving your Qurbani to vulnerable Bangladeshis and Rohingya refugees. When you entrust your Qurbani to us, our local staff source healthy, cared-for animals from local farmers, and distributes an average of 4 kilograms to each vulnerable family. Often, Qurbani is a family’s only chance in the year to eat meat. Bangladesh has endured staggering hardship. Food and clean water are scarce, and millions of families do not have enough to eat. After years of recurring floods and cyclones, many are unable to make a living or support themselves.
We only have a limited number of Qurbani animals available in Bangladesh so donate your charity early to ensure you’re able to give in the country of your choice. Last year, you helped us to provide 6,000 people in Bangladesh with nutritious Qurbani meat.
Follow in the footsteps of the prophets, put your Qurbani in our experienced hands and, together, we can fight hunger this Eid.
