Cancer screening and testing in Yemen

The Messenger (PBUH) said, “Whoever brings ease to one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this life and the Hereafter.” (Muslim)

It’s impossible to survive when you face illness without healthcare. Be a mercy to families facing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

Solar power for clinics in northern Yemen

£7 – give one patient with access to a medical care by providing solar power to a health centre.

£70 – give ten patients with access to medical care by providing solar power to a health centre.

After more than six years of conflict, 23 million people need humanitarian help, unable to meet their basic needs, or afford healthcare. Families are still facing violence, and many have been forced to flee their homes over and over again.

Tens of thousands of people can’t afford medical care, and hospitals and medical centres are struggling to cope with the rising costs of running their facilities. Help us to keep five medical centres open by installing solar energy systems. We’ll also be providing medicine to 1,600 patients, allowing them to treat their sicknesses.

When you donate, you’ll help to provide 40 solar panels to Al Nasser Hospital, and five other medical centres in northern Yemen, supporting a total of 11,200 patients to receive healthcare in the first six months.

It’s an incredible blessing to be able to give, no matter how little, as charity offers blessings and protection in this life and the hereafter, and transforms the lives of people facing hardship around the world.

Zakat and ongoing blessings

All of our projects in Yemen are Zakat-applicable, and you can calculate what you owe with our easy-to-use Zakat calculator.

As a Sadaqah Jariyah, this project will continue to provide solar energy to the medical centres for years to come – and provide blessings to you, even after you are gone.

“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim)

Our work in Yemen

Human Appeal has been changing lives through our projects in Yemen since 2014. We’ve helped over 1 million Yemenis during the course of the conflict, primarily through health projects and emergency food aid to tackle malnutrition. Last year, you helped us to support a total of 3,843,270 globally, including 148,230 people in Yemen.

Your charity could transform the lives of an entire community, helping them to safeguard their health for years to come.

Human Appeal is committed to providing aid in the country or programme that you select. In the event we complete the programme, exceed the required funds, or are denied access to a particular country for reasons beyond our control, Human Appeal reserves the right to reallocate your donation to another programme where it is needed most.
