The impact of a tree: How much difference can it make?
When you donate an olive tree through Human Appeal, we go beyond providing seeds. We deliver healthy trees that are already producing fruit, measuring approximately 1.6 to 2 meters in height and at least 3 years old. We assist farmers in planting these trees and provide ongoing support throughout the process.
Each farming family we support will receive 30-40 trees, enabling them to cultivate and sell olives for profit. On average, a mature olive tree yields 15 to 20 kilograms of olives per year.
