Those who spend their wealth in Allah’s cause are like grains of corn which produce seven ears, each bearing a hundred grains. (2:261)
Give from your wealth in these blessed last days of Ramadan, and provide a vulnerable person with a chicken farm, helping them to have a sustainable source of income and nutrition.
£300 – Provide 40 chicks, training, and support to help a person to start a chicken farm.
Your donation will provide a farmer with 40 chickens, training, and chicken feed to last a month. They’re also trained on household management, hygiene, and accounting.
All of the 40 chickens that each farmer receives will be over the age of 6 months, and fully vaccinated.
Through this project, we’ll be prioritising the most marginalised families in the Mansehra District of Pakistan-administered Kashmir. In particular, we’ll focus on supporting widowed mothers, helping them to form a business to support their orphaned children.
Chicken farming is a business that provides them with eggs to eat, and they can sell what they don’t need for profit. It’s also a business that naturally grows, with more chicks hatching as time progresses, helping families to build brighter futures.
Give in these blessed last days of Ramadan, and reap the blessings.
