Deep Water Well

Deep Water Well

Deep Water Well

Build a deep water well

When you donate a water well, an entire community of 105 people will have water for drinking, cooking, washing, and farming.

Simply put, your donation transforms a village.

£800 - Install a deep water well in a drought-hit community, helping to transform a village of 105 people in Pakistan.

Today, 2.2 billion people don’t have reliable access to safe drinking water. Nobody should be trapped in a cycle of poverty because they’re forced to spend their entire life fetching water just to survive. Every year, 829,000 people die simply from drinking dirty water.

Help us to change this by being a mercy to the Ummah. With every drop that goes to sustaining the lives of people, livestock and crops, you’ll reap rewards, year after year.

A fountain of blessing and clean water

When you provide a deep-water well, you give the gift of clean water to around 105 people affected by drought, ensuring they no longer go thirsty and can grow and water crops to feed their families.

A water well doesn’t just provide the best of charities, it’s a Sadaqah Jariyah that continues to give, and every drop continues to bless the giver for as long as it’s in use. Change the future for an entire community of around 21 families, and reap the rewards of this blessed act, year after year.

Pakistan could run dry by 2025

Water is about much more than quenching thirst; it is what creates jobs and helps communities to lift themselves out of poverty. But 21 million people in Pakistan don’t have reliable access to clean water. A staggering 41% of deaths in Pakistan are linked to drinking unsafe water.

When families struggle for water, it doesn’t just mean that they don’t have clean water to drink; without water, families can’t grow food, feed their livestock, stay clean, or have produce to sell. Without your support, residents will always be stuck trying to overcome the water shortages, which is especially dangerous as they try to protect themselves from COVID-19.

After years of cyclical drought, 21 million people in Pakistan don’t have access to clean water and experts predict the country could run out of water by 2025. A fifth of diseases in Pakistan are associated with poor sanitation and water quality. We’ll be installing wells in areas of Pakistan that have been worst hit, where current water sources are unsafe, contaminated, or very far away.

Our projects are monitored from start to finish by water engineers to ensure they’re installed sustainably in areas where groundwater is safe and accessible in the long term, ensuring that your wells provide clean water year after year.

Transform a community for generations to come

When you give £800, you’ll be directly responsible for transforming life for 105 people for many years to come. Every time a resident is able to drink clean water, grow a plant, feed an animal, or work instead of spending their day fetching water, that will be your blessed legacy.

When you donate this blessed gift, we’ll place a plaque in your name on the well, and send you a report on when and where your well was installed.

You can even donate the well in the name of a loved one, and they’ll reap the endless rewards of this charity – even after they are gone.
