Persevere. Achieve! Conquer The Big Half Challenge for a great cause – our Gaza Emergency Appeal.

The Big Half is an inclusive half marathon with a fun, festival atmosphere. Hit the ground running on its 13.2-mile course that weaves through the capital, from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

We’re also looking to build a community of go-getting marathoners to join us for a series of exciting races through 2025.

The Big Half Challenge passes through four boroughs, including Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Southwark and Greenwich.

Thousands of people line the streets to support The Big Half, which began in 2018 to celebrate the vibrant diversity of London, as well as the communities and boroughs it runs through.

From the minute you sign up, our Challenges team will support you every step of the way, from training through to support on the day of the event.

We’re seasoned veterans at running marathons. As part of the Human Appeal Family, you will receive the absolute best care and guidance. Our qualified and experienced team will be with you all the way, plus they’ll help you reach your sponsorship target and help with training and gear advice.

We’ll be in touch in the lead up to your challenge with plans, FAQs, and anything you need to know about your event and the safety measures in place. If your trek is cancelled or postponed in 2025, we will give you the option to defer your place to a future suitable date.
