This is one of Europe's most iconic bike rides. The journey will be split into two legs: London to Brighton, and then Brighton to Paris. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll pass through stunning scenery, flying along the open road with a team of like-minded souls around you. Legs pumping and heart racing, you’ll rise to (and ride into) the challenge and cover a stunning 220 miles over 4 days. Places are limited to 10 people each leg, and we anticipate this being a popular challenge, so sign up quick!

How it works

Pump up those tires, stretch those hamstrings and head out onto the open road. This challenge isn’t for the fainthearted, but you can choose how to ride it. If you want to do the whole thing or just stick to one of the legs, that’s fine!

All COVID-19 precautions will be taken, Human Appeal is working with suppliers to make sure our cycles are safe and follow government guidelines. We’ll be in touch in the lead up to your cycle with plans, FAQs and anything you need to know about safety measures in place. If your cycle is cancelled or postponed in 2022, we will give you the option to defer your place to a future suitable date.

Human Appeal has been helping supporters to sponsor orphans for 30 years. Currently, our supporters are sponsoring over 12,000 orphans across nine countries. We’ve witnessed how one sponsorship can change a whole future, and we’ve learnt to develop a programme that puts the child’s needs first. All our work is overseen by our child protection specialists, who ensure that children are never put at further risk.

In order to qualify for child sponsorship, an orphaned child must remain in school, which safeguards their right to an education and a future, and helps to give them the tools to support themselves once they become young adults in the world. Sponsoring an orphan is one of the most blessed and rewarding acts you can do. And it’s some of our most impactful and precious work, which we carry out with great care.
