We’ve witnessed the horrific attacks on our brothers and sisters in Gaza just days ago at the start of this month, having taken the lives of 46 people, including 16 children, and left hundreds injured. Gaza’s hospitals and medical services are buckling under the strain of a severe fuel shortage, a limited supply of essential drugs, and scarce medical supplies. Tonight, we’re launching our Gaza Emergency live appeal, to raise funds for life-saving medical aid, critical fuel supplies to hospitals and humanitarian assistance for the vulnerable survivors in Gaza.
Give Sadaqa in Muharram
Start the new year by reflecting on the mercy and blessings of Allah (SWT) and showing gratitude for all that we have and for what Allah has given us.
In 2021, you helped us to raise enough funds to help construct a desalination plant in Gaza and plant thousands of olives trees to help Gaza’s farmers. But we need significantly more funds to help those survivors of the attacks and to help care for families, the sick and injured, and to help them rebuild their lives.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “The likeness of the believers in regard to mutual love, mercy, and kindness is that of a body. When any part aches, the whole body aches." (Bukhari)
Tune in now – we’re live all evening, telling you how your money can make a difference.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever helps his brother in his time of need, Allah will be there in his time of need."
