With the resumption of the violence, bombardment and destruction there is seemingly no end to the death and misery being heaped upon the Palestinian people. And with half the deaths so far being children, they are bearing the brunt of this conflict. We are now entering winter and a desperate situation is getting even worse.
With so many displaced families, far from their demolished homes, they have nothing to protect themselves from the harshest of winters.
But imagine what it's like for the orphans created by this conflict. No home, no shelter, no parents, no blankets, no food or water. They are completely at the mercy of the ongoing destruction and the deadly winter.

We currently have over 1,500 Palestinian orphans awaiting a sponsor with Human Appeal and this number is going to rise significantly. At this point we are looking to supply thousands of emergency kits to the orphaned children this winter.
