Human Appeal expresses its condolences following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II

We are greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As the longest reigning monarch in the UK, Her Majesty oversaw much change and social improvement within the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world.

Her continuous work as patron to over 500 charities in the last decade alone set an example to the British public and people all over the world of the importance of charitable giving and social responsibility.

As a UK charity we are immensely proud to have served our first thirty years during her reign. Today we choose to remember and honour her through her own words.

"Our modern world places such heavy demands on our time and attention that the need to remember our responsibilities to others is greater than ever." (Elizabeth R II, 25 December 2002)
