Exciting! Inspirational! We’re inviting 50 expedition junkies to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu for a great cause – our Gaza Emergency Appeal.
The legendary Inca trail is part of a vast network of trails and roads built by the Incan Empire over 500 years ago. Its breathtaking 43 kilometres or 26 miles makes up one of the top five hikes in the world. Will you join us on this challenging but immensely rewarding journey?

What does the registration fee include?
Fundraising target per person: £3,000
The incredible Inca Trail consists of three overlapping trails: Mollepata, Classic and One Day.
Mollepata is the longest route with the highest mountain pass, intersecting with the Classic route before crossing the Warmiwanusga or ‘Dead Woman!’
Set in the magnificent Andes Mountain range, the Inca Trail provides breathtaking experiences, including the Cloud Forest and vistas of alpine tundra, while the tunnels and Inca ruins offer many selfie stops before finishing the hike at the Sun Gate on Machu Picchu Mountain.

Human Appeal is the only Muslim charity offering the epic Inca Trail Challenge. We’re seasoned climbers, so you will receive the absolute best care and guidance. Our qualified and experienced team will be with you all the way, plus they’ll help you reach your sponsorship target and help with training and gear advice.
We’ll be in touch in the lead up to your challenge with plans, FAQs, and anything you need to know about your event and the safety measures in place. If your trek is cancelled or postponed in 2025, we will give you the option to defer your place to a future suitable date.
