Deep Water Well - Bangladesh

“The best charity is giving water to drink and He was the most generous in giving charity.” (Ahmad)

£880 – build a deep water well in a vulnerable and impoverished community in Bangladesh, benefiting 105 people.

In drought-hit areas of Bangladesh, women and children spend hours fetching water. Help us to transform and protect an entire village by installing a deep water well to provide clean water and blessings for years to come.

When you donate a water well, you’ll help an entire community of 105 people will have water for drinking, cooking, washing, and farming. Your charity will empower and uplift a community, and free up time for those who collected water to earn a living or go to school.

Give the best charity in the best month, and reap the blessings of this Sadaqah Jariyah for years to come.

A well of blessing and clean water

When you donate a deep-water well you’ll provide clean water to around 105 people affected by drought, ensuring they no longer go thirsty and can grow and water crops to feed their families. They have plenty of water to wash their food and bathe. The simple act of a donation is world-changing for this village, providing clean water and blessings for years to come.

You can even donate a water well in the name of a loved one – as a special gift, or to honour their memory and provide blessings after they are gone.

Help a village to thrive while building beautiful blessings in the Akhirah for you or your loved one.

Donate a well and be a mercy to a community.

Running out of water and time

When a water well is installed, it relieves thirst in the community, but it also does so much more. It frees up time spent collecting water, allowing people to work, it grows crops, sustains livestock. Without it, families can’t grow food, feed their livestock, stay clean, or have produce to sell. Without it, the community will always be stuck trying to overcome the water shortages.

In Bangladesh, 60% of people have unsafe drinking water, and the contamination of groundwater is widespread. When you donate, your well will be overseen by water experts and our own water engineer who ensures that the well is sustainable and suitable for the area, and that it produces clean water, which we test to ensure it stays safe.

With your help, we’ll be installing wells in areas of Bangladesh that have been hit by brutal and cyclical drought, and where current water sources are unsafe, contaminated, or very far away.

Transform a community for generations to come

When you give £880, you’ll be directly responsible for transforming life for 105 people for many years to come. Every time a resident is able to drink clean water, grow a plant, feed an animal, or work instead of spending their day fetching water, that will be your impact in this world, and your reward in the hereafter

With your donation, we’ll mount a plaque in your name on the well, and send you a report detailing when and where your well was installed.

You can even donate the well in the name of a loved one, and they’ll reap the endless rewards of this charity – even after they are gone.
