One of the world's worst hunger crises

Yemen remains one of the most severe humanitarian crises on earth. Over half the population — 19.5 million people — are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance. Yemen is currently ranked the third most food-insecure country in the world, with 18.1 million people facing crisis-level hunger or worse. Among the hardest hit are internally displaced families, 70% of whom cannot meet basic food needs, with one in three going a full day without eating.
