What is the Emergency Fund?
Immediate assistance can mean life or death for families affected by war and natural disasters.
When disaster strikes, families need rapid shelter, food, clean water, and medical care, they cannot wait for lengthy fundraising campaigns. Our Emergency Fund saves lives by enabling us to respond swiftly with food, water, shelter, and medicine within 72 hours, or even earlier.
It has allowed us to respond promptly to the wars in Gaza, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, as well as the earthquakes in Syria and Afghanistan and recent floods in Afghanistan, thanks to your support.

Our World in Crisis appeal is a method that is tried and tested. It works effectively to ensure we always have funds available to support vulnerable families as soon as a crisis hits.
