Be a mercy to quake-hit Syrians

Be a mercy to a Syrian family struggling to recover from the earthquake, by providing iftar meals, healthcare, and by building new, long-lasting homes.

£3,800 or £316 per month - Build a home in Syria: provide a family with a sturdy, long-lasting home.

£100 - Provide an emergency pack to a family in Syria.

£50 - Al Imaan - provide 5 mothers and babies with life-saving medical care at our Al Imaan Hospital in northern Syria.

£55 - Provide urgent medical support for 10 people at our mobile health clinics in camps for displaced people in Syria.

February’s powerful earthquakes devastated homes, schools, and hospitals in Syria, and affected a staggering 3.7 million Syrian children. Over 50,000 people were killed, including thousands of children. On top of the 6.8 million people already displaced, 86,000 more lost their homes in the earthquake, more than half of them were children.

Be a mercy to a family without a home to protect them from the blistering heat, going hungry, and unable to afford medical care.

A home for the future

Build a home for a Syrian family that will last decades, and contain a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom, as well as electricity and running water. They are designed to last a family for decades.

Each brick and steel home features a modern design, built for the privacy and comfort of a family. It consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room.

Our homes are constructed on a concrete foundation and have more than 37 m2 of living space. There’s also a small green space with each home that also houses a private water tank for each family.

Every house will be linked to the sewage system and drinking water network, ensuring all families have access to clean water and hygiene facilities.

All of our Syria projects are Zakat-applicable, and you can calculate what you owe with our easy-to-use Zakat calculator.
