Extreme flooding during Pakistan’s monsoon season has been catastrophic: 1,500 people are dead, one-third of the country is underwater, with 1.6 million homes damaged, and more than 200,000 houses completely destroyed, affecting 33 million people. Tonight, we’re launching our Saving and Rebuilding lives in Pakistan Appeal, to raise funds for food and water, permanent housing assistance, and medical care for flood-affected residents.

Lifesaving Sadaqah Jariyah

Tonight we’ve launched a critical campaign to raise £10k-£15k to help survivors in all flood-affected areas, including Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab. Survivors have spent days stranded on rooftops and isolated patches of dry land in need of clean water, shelter, and medical aid.

As an official Government approved response and recovery charity authorised by Pakistan local authorities to operate in the flood emergency, Human Appeal has been on the ground responding in all flood-affected areas, including Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab.

Generous donors have already helped us reach over 70,000 flood-affected survivors in the hardest hit areas in Pakistan, but there is even more we can do, with your help. Here’s a snapshot of what we have provided.

• Hot meals - 15,503 individuals

• Hygiene kits and household items – 7,625 households

• Dignity kits – 100 households

• Healthcare assistance - 442 individuals

• Food parcels - 390 households

It's not too late to donate and help Human Appeal continue to bring urgent relief to people in Sindh and other hard - hit areas of Pakistan.

All donations made tonight will be used to expedite relief for people stranded in hard-to-reach areas.

Gift Aid

With our live appeal you can also increase your donations without paying more. For every £1 donated, we get £1.25 to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “The likeness of the believers in regard to mutual love, mercy, and kindness is that of a body. When any part aches, the whole body aches." (Bukhari)

Tune in now – we’re live all evening, telling you how your money can make a difference.
