Gift an olive tree to a vulnerable family for just £15

The blessed month of Ramadan is here, during which the Messenger encourages us to increase our good deeds, and promised multiplied reward for them. Plant the seeds of blessings this Ramadan, and reap their reward in the hereafter. As our brothers and sisters across the globe struggle to have livelihoods, enough food, and access to healthcare, be a mercy to a struggling family.

It’s an incredible blessing to be able to give in charity, no matter how little, as charity offers blessings and protection in this life and the hereafter, and transforms the lives of people facing hardship around the world.

It’s no wonder the Messenger (PBUH) labelled olive trees as blessed; they produce beautiful and nourishing fruits, and they’re mentioned seven times in the Quran. Give £15, and provide a vulnerable family with an olive tree, giving them a sustainable source of income, and you’ll reap the ongoing blessings of this Sadaqah Jariyah for years to come.

Allah even swears by the olive tree in the Quran, so mighty is its importance:

How much difference can a tree make?

When you donate your olive tree with Human Appeal this Ramadan, we don’t simply provide seeds to farmers, we deliver healthy trees – around 1.6 to 2 metres in height and at least 3 years old, that are already producing fruit. We help the farmers to plant their trees, and support them along the way.

Your tree will be given to a farming family most in need, wherever they may be. One country we continue to work in is Palestine, where 80,000 families rely on olive trees them as their main livelihood, but they represent more than just an income.

Each farming family that we help will receive 30-40 trees, supporting their livelihood of growing and selling olives for profit. An average mature olive tree produces 15 to 20 kilograms of olives per year.

Help us to achieve our goal to plant 30,000 olive trees during Ramadan, helping around 900 farmers to have secure and sustainable livelihoods with this Sadaqah Jariyah.
