The blessed days of Rabi Al- Awwal are here! In this month of his birth, and also of his passing, let’s follow in his footsteps and give generously. Connect with the Messenger (SAW) by following his Sunnah and giving in charity in this special month.
£35/ month / £1.15 per day – Caring for an orphan helps give a vulnerable child food, shelter, clothing, medical aid, and a quality education. Give an orphan a brighter future for £35/month.
£50 – Where most needed – Give, and help vulnerable people who urgently need our support.
£60 – provide clean water – the best of charities is in giving water. Ensure the people in Gaza have safe, clean water for years to come by helping us to build a water desalination plant.
Virtues of Rabi al Awwal
• A beautiful opportunity to draw close to Allah (SWT) by reflecting on the Prophet’s (SAW) life.
• A season for reaping maximum rewards by following the sunnah of the Prophet (SAW).
• A month to increase charitable giving by caring for orphans and donating to the poor.
More than 1 billion Muslims commemorate Rabi al Awwal by sending prayers of peace and blessing on Muhammad (SAW). His perfect example, known through his character, habits, and deeds are preserved for all to learn from and follow: his love of the poor, his immense generosity to any in need, his support of the weak and downtrodden, and his protection and defense of the oppressed.
At Human Appeal, we believe there’s no better example than Prophet Muhammad (SAW), himself an orphan. His life and legacy inspire the values that drive our work each and every day.

Living a life of humble service and compassionate leadership, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left us with an enduring example of constant charity. He remains a guide for us all, at a time when 168 million people worldwide need humanitarian assistance.
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.”
Here are just some of the enormous rewards for giving charity:
Allah says, “Charity is for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the funds; and for those whose hearts have been reconciled (to the truth); for those in bondage; and those in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer. (Source - Quran 9:60).
