Human Appeal continues saving lives amid worsening conflict in Yemen
Yemen, which already suffered from extreme poverty, has suffered from months of fighting and bombings, leaving an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
There are currently 12 million people without access to sufficient food, clean water, fuel or basic medical care, according to the UN. As many as 300,000 have fled their homes.
1,600 people have been killed since March and 6,266 have been injured.
Human Appeal has provided emergency food parcels to 300 families and plans to continue providing life-saving supplies to those in desperate need.
Working in Aden, Khourmeksr, Abyan and other cities, the team is operating in dangerous conditions after a 5 day humanitarian truce ended on the 17th of May. As one of the few charities able to work in Yemen, the charity urgently requires more funds.
