Palestine Winter Emergency
Winter clothes for children in Gaza
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza live in poorly-constructed, cramped camps. Often there is nothing but metal sheeting to protect them from the bitter winds, freezing temperatures and rain.
Life is difficult year-round in Gaza, with the constant thread of unpredictable bombings, a blockade that limits fuel and employment opportunities, and daily power cuts.
But surviving winter in these conditions is almost unbearable. Without fuel, electricity or livelihoods, families are forced to endure the bitter cold and flooding without light or heating.
Help vulnerable children – such as orphans, and those without a breadwinner – to stay warm this winter.
£165 will provide three children each with a warm coat, jumper, trousers, pyjamas, underwear, socks and a scarf.
Since 2015, our emergency winter response has helped nearly 200,000 people across 11 countries.
