Somalia Winter Emergency
2.1 million Somalis need support this winter

£50 Winter Family Emergency Kit can provide a vulnerable Somali family with mosquito nets, sleeping mats and winter emergency blankets to help them survive winter.
Conflict. Climate change. Loss of livelihoods. Exclusion, discrimination, and displacement. 4.2 million Somalia people desperately need humanitarian assistance, while 2.6 million remain internally displaced with little or no access to basic services. And now winter is here.
New arrivals to camps in Banadir, Mogadishu, are especially vulnerable to winter. Hungry and weak from travelling, families must learn to survive in makeshift shelters, exposed to extreme and volatile weather conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain, cold temperatures, and scorching sunshine, with children the most vulnerable. We must do all we can to protect them.
Help us save lives
Human Appeal is providing life-saving humanitarian aid, helping to shield families from extreme weather conditions in Banadir, Mogadishu in Somalia, particularly under-fives who are vulnerable to contracting pneumonia and other illnesses. Our vital winter assistance will also relieve financial pressure on families, enabling then to spend what little they have on food and water.
Thank you for supporting the people of Somalia
Thanks to your support, Human Appeal has been providing emergency winter aid for nearly 30 years. Last year alone, we provided waterproof sheeting and blankets to 1,871 displaced Somali people, helping them to survive winter.
Somalia families need our help this winter more than ever. Your donation can be the difference between life and death.
Winter kills. So please act now. Donate generously today.
