Pakistan Winter Emergency

200 million Pakistanis are suffering this winter

“Those who spend their wealth in Allah’s cause are like grains of corn which produce seven ears, each bearing a hundred grains.” (Qur’an, 2:261)

£80 Winter Family Emergency Kit can provide an emergency kit to an at-risk family in Pakistan, containing warm winter clothes, such as socks, gloves, jackets, shawls, and blankets to keep them warm.

Drought. Displacement. Hunger. Lack of safe water and sanitation. 2020 has been a struggle for millions of people in Pakistan, with a staggering 1 in 7 children suffering from malnutrition. Winter will only make matters worse.

In winter, the poorest children must withstand freezing temperatures without warm clothing and bedding. Plus, extreme rainfall and snow in hilly regions keeps families housebound. Unable to afford heating or source food, their suffering is unimaginable. Please help us to protect the people of Pakistan.

Help us save lives

We are distributing emergency family winter kits to support hundreds of destitute people living in Tehsil Dhirkot in the district of Bagh of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Tehsil Murree in the district of Rawalpindi of Punjab and Tehsil Shinkiari in the district of Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The kits contain warm winter clothing and blankets – enough to shield a vulnerable family through the dark, cold days of winter – but we cannot provide this critical aid without your support.

Thank you for supporting the people of Pakistan

Thanks to your support, Human Appeal has been providing the people of Pakistan with winter aid for nearly 30 years. Last year alone, we provided warm clothes to 250 orphans and their families in Pakistan, helping 983 people in total.

Families in Pakistan need our help this winter more than ever. Your donation can be the difference between life and death.
