Feed the Fasting – Hot iftar meals
“Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all." (Ibn Khuzaymah)
For £6, you can support a vulnerable person struggling to afford food this Ramadan with a nutritious hot iftar meal in Pakistan and Gaza.
A staggering 41 million people in Pakistan are undernourished, and now, more than ever, they need your help to stay nourished through Ramadan. When people get desperate to feed their families, they’re forced to go out to look for work, risking catching and spreading COVID-19 to people already weakened by hunger.
Even before the pandemic, 68.5 per cent of Palestinians in Gaza didn’t have enough to eat. As COVID-19 took hold, thousands were left unable to work in a territory already coping with a debilitating blockade, cyclical airstrikes, and high levels of unemployment. This Ramadan, help us to create a change, for the better.
Change iftar for a vulnerable person this Ramadan, while reaping the mercy and generosity of the holy month.
Help us to provide a nutritious hot meal to a vulnerable person in one of three locations in Pakistan - Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Mansehra, and in Gaza.
Your charity allowed us to support 201,309 people during Ramadan and Eid al – Fitr, including providing 31,085 people in Pakistan with iftar and over 7,710 hot meals. Your charity also allowed us to support 27,083 people in Palestine. This year, the need has never been greater. Change Ramadan for one person who was already struggling to support themselves before the outbreak of coronavirus, and who could put themselves and their communities at risk in the search of a meal for iftar.
