Qurbani in Pakistan
There is a catastrophic water shortage in Pakistan. Experts predict that the country could run out of water by 2025.
But the crisis has already begun; 21 million people don’t have access to clean water and 1.87 million people need help. The water shortage is crippling healthcare infrastructure, livelihoods and access to food.
A staggering 60% of people do not have reliable access to food, and the average household spends over half of its income just on food.
Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honourable reward. (Quran 57:18)
Last year, your donations provided meat to over 19,175 people in Pakistan, allowing them to share the joy of Eid al-Adha.
