This summer, the governments of Eritrea and Ethiopia signed a momentous peace agreement. But over the course of their 30-year conflict, thousands of Eritreans fled across the border with Sudan to safety.
The influx of refugees from Eritrea put extra strain on already stretched local resources. Eastern Sudan hosts over 100,000 Eritrean refugees, many of whom live in camps.
This year, Human Appeal is working with vulnerable Sudanese people, as well as Eritrean refugees in Sudan to provide your Qurbani meat where it is most needed. Just £350 will cover the cost of seven Qurbani shares, providing fresh meat to 28 families.
