This International Women’s Day weekend, join us for a women-only event, including a three-course meal in Bradford, with proceeds going to sustainable livelihoods in Pakistan.
International Women’s Day is about standing up for the rights of women around the world, and at Human Appeal, we’re dedicated to doing just that. But we also know how important it is to have an afternoon off with your friends, listening to engaging speakers and eating good food with other women.
For just £10 you can join us at 1:30pm on Saturday, March 9 in Regency Hall, Bradford and help to support sustainable livelihoods in Pakistan.
Come along and listen to our guests share inspirational stories from their careers and lives. Meet Muzdalfa Ahmed, Member of Parliament at UK Youth Parliament and a representative of the British Youth Council and Simone G Malik, an artist and the award-winning author of Themes of Life.
So grab a friend or three and get your tickets while you can.
Supporting women in Pakistan this International Women’s Day
This charity event will be raising funds for our sustainable livelihoods projects, which provide training and equipment to vulnerable people, offering them a way to support their families for years to come.
In Pakistan, we teach people to keep bees and create honey for profit, and our skill development centres have provided over 200 women with sewing machines and training so that they can support themselves.
