Pakistan suffers from a malnutrition crisis, with it affecting an estimated 14.7 million women and 22.2 million children. According to the 2015 State of Food Insecurity in the World Report, 22% of Pakistan’s population is undernourished.
Our livelihoods department looks to educate local farmers for kitchen gardening or growing crops with regular follow-ups by the project staff and for long-term linkages development.
The project also aims to identify the poorest women/men for goat packages.
These poorest women/men would be supported with goat package and how the community will replace the sold one in future and linked with livestock department for regular vaccination and updated information.
