“For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah (SWT).”
As we enter the blessed month of Dhul HIjjah, Muslims around the world are preparing to perform their Qurbani, or Udhiya. Last year, over 22,000 people fulfilled their Qurbani with Human Appeal, providing nutritious meat to one million people in 20 countries!
With Human Appeal, 100 percent of your donation is spent on Qurbani, safeguarding your Islamic obligation and ensuring your donation reaches those who need it most.
From as little as £25, this Eid ul Adha you can fulfil your Qurbani in any of the thirteen countries that Human Appeal has chosen as most in need. One Qurbani donation will provide two kilos of high quality meat to an average of four vulnerable families, many of whom only have the luxury of eating meat once a year.
Human Appeal works year-round in 25 countries, responding to emergencies, building livelihoods, and providing food, education and healthcare. So when Eid ul Adha comes around, you know you can count on us to deliver your Qurbani donation to those most in need, even when they live in hard-to-reach villages or conflict zones.
We have been distributing Qurbani to vulnerable people for over 27 years, ensuring it is carried out in accordance with Islamic principles, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
Continue the Legacy of the Prophet Ibrahim
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] was sent as a mercy to all mankind and to this day we remember the sacrifice of Ibrahim [PBUH]. On the sacred days of Hajj – the best ten days to earn spiritual rewards – let us continue the legacy of our prophets.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: ‘There is no deed that is better in the sight of Allah or more greatly rewarded than a good deed done in the (first) ten days of Al-Adha’. (Bukhari)
Mohammad lives in Thatta in the Sindh province of Pakistan with his wife, son and brother. “My wife has mental health issues, my brother had a car accident and is bed-ridden and my son has hepatitis.”
He relies on the generosity of his community in order to feed his family.
“Even though I have three family members, I am all alone. There is nobody to share this burden with and all that I have is from God.”
Your donations helped Mohammad and his family, providing them with a meat parcel to take the burden off Mohammad for a while.
But more is still needed. Help vulnerable people like Mohammad this year by providing Qurbani for as little as £25.
“I pray one day we’ll be free from this poverty. One day I will be free.”
This Eid ul Adha, let’s share the burden. Let’s not leave anyone to feel alone. Gain reward and give your Qurbani today.
